Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing

In order to become the therapist you are called to be, you need to undergo your own process of healing, to dive into your story and deal with your own "stuff." Some of this happens through school and learning, some through clinical supervision, and some through your own psychotherapy.
Whether you are in graduate school, an intern, or newly licensed, I know how essential it is to establish a support network. Individual therapy is an important part of that framework. I particularly enjoy accompanying people on the rich and rewarding (but also challenging) journey to become therapists themselves. |
